The children in this village would always be seen flying in the air, singing happy tunes. These flying powers did not last forever. As the children turned 12 years old, their powers would mysteriously fade away. All the adults had, were the wonderful childhood memories of when they would fly in the sky. This puzzled the village scientists who set upon finding the answers to this mystery.

Okonyo was the only adult whose powers continued to grow as he grew older. This made the scientists curious and they started to conduct experiments on him. To understand what made Okonyo so special. They also wanted to examine the potential of his powers.

The scientists discovered something interesting; both the children and Okonyo burped every day at mid-day. Eager to become just like Okonyo, the villagers would rally together and join in a burp chorus. Every day at mid-day at the sound of the bell.

Soon, the villagers began to shrink in body size and they also began to always crave the fruits and vegetables of the forest instead of meat. It was then that the village scientists noticed that both Okonyo and the flying children rarely ate any meat This was unlike the adults who loved to eat a lot of meat.

From then on, the village became known for producing the best burping sounds in the land. They ate lots of fruits and vegetables and stopped eating meat. They immediately began looking younger. Also, they all started flying just like Okonyo. Everyone in the village lived longer and happily ever after they loved the burp for a slurp.
