There once was a man who had a robotic dog that was always looking for a friend. The owner was very mean to the dog. He not only made him guard the house, but he also overworked him. He gave him work he was not programmed to do. Looking to build a friend robot to keep him company, it would always bury the man’s gadgets. He hoped in making a new robotic owner. Eventually, the robotic dog made a gentle robotic giant that he loved more than its owner.
The owner became jealous of this great bond that was forming between the dog and the giant. He, therefore, devised a way of making the giant mean-spirited. To annoy the giant, the man would do bad things. He thought he would cause an angry reaction from the dog. He did things like throwing rubbish at him, kicking him, pouring water on him, calling him names, and wrongfully blaming him for things he had not done.
Every time he did something to upset the giant, it would only make him kinder and this agitated the man even more. Nothing he did seemed to annoy the giant; instead, he was the one that got angrier and angrier. Every time he got mean, his body would get hotter and hotter because of his boiling anger. His body became so hot that it one day burst into flames.
This left the gentle robotic giant and the dog free to live their robotic lives.
Moral: Kindness always makes a way.
