The shape shifting puppy

The story of the shape-shifting puppy. Johnny was walking home from school when he saw a cute puppy crying in the alley and looking very hungry. He felt pity for it, took some of his leftover lunch from his backpack. Went to where the puppy was to feed it and try to keep it warm. Just when he got close to the puppy, he heard a strange sound coming from the alley. He got scared to move further and he decided to just quickly walk home as he also did not want to be late for dinner.

As he was walking to his house; he looked back to see if the puppy was still there but did not see anything. The puppy was gone. When he looked in front, he saw a clown standing right in front of him. The clown was a shapeshifter. It would change its shape to a cute puppy when it needed to lure unsuspecting people into the alley to trap them. Today was Johnny’s unlucky day. The clown immediately pounced on him and killed him instantly.

When Johnny did not go home, his parents started a search party, looking for him everywhere. The police and everyone in the town searched and searched but no one could tell of Johnny’s whereabouts. A ransom of $10,000 was put out for anyone who would find him, but still, nothing came through. The police investigations led to a dead end as they were looking at the shape shifting puppy that nobody suspected.

On the other side of town, some thieves had seen the ransom note that they started scheming about how they would get it. They sent a note to Johnny’s parents informing them that they had him with them and all they needed was the $10,000 to release him. His parents were so eager to get their son back that they immediately raised all the money and sent it to the thieves. The thieves took the money and ran to a different town happy to have made some quick bucks. Unfortunately for them, the police had been tracking them and they managed to follow them and capture them, and put them in jail. Sadly for them, they were falsely accused of killing Johnny.

The clown had once again gotten away with murder.

Moral: Don’t take advantage of other people’s problems.
