The school field trip

The story of the school field trip. It was evening when John got home from his school expedition. His class had gone for a school trip during the day and that is where his adventures began. So, let’s start from the beginning.

It was morning when John’s dad woke him up for his school trip and for yet another year. John knew they would be going to the same place they went to every year before. He tried convincing his dad that he was unwell and could not go on the trip. His dad would hear none of it. The parents had been made to pay such a big sum of money only to get scammed.

John’s dad did not want to imagine the possibility of wasting this money. He knew this was a mandatory school field trip. The kids on the other hand had gone to the same place year in, year out. They no longer looked forward to any of the school trips. With none of his excuses working, he dressed up and whispered a prayer asking God for an exciting day.

The school bus arrived at the location they were to spend the day. They arrived at a museum. The museum owner came and met them. A man, they had become used to rather quickly. He knew all the places within the museum that kids loved to see. One of the interesting places was a gift shop that was known to have interesting antiques.

The last stop for the school would be the gift shop. And just when they thought that it was an end to another boring day. The children stopped by the gift shop that was filled with interesting gifts and antique items. One of the things they saw was a bright red container with a bubbly cream that had been tucked away on one of the top shelves. This cream made things come to life when applied. Curious about the powers of the cream, the children quickly hid it and took it from the shop making sure not to be seen by the adults.

They rubbed the cream on one of the dinosaur skulls that were in the museum and to their surprise, it slowly started gaining its life form. The dinosaur went on a rampage eating everyone except the children as it thought that they were its parents. It ate away all the skin and flesh of the human adults splitting out the skeleton. On the other hand, it allowed the children to play and have fun carrying them on its backbone.

The dinosaur continued with this rampage until there was no more cream left to be applied to it. And it soon wore off from the dinosaur turning it back to a skeleton. As soon as the dinosaur was back to being a skeleton, the adults were revived back to life again unaware of what had just happened to them.

The children went back home looking forward to the next trip.
