Ginx the Jinx

Ginx the jinx was the most hated girl in the village where she lived. She had strange powers that made people scared of being around her. Anytime she was next to a person, she would turn them into a horse. Control them and make them do anything she wanted to be done and this really tortured the villagers. I am sure you feel sorry for the villagers, well, don’t!

Let us start from the beginning. Ginx was once a beautiful girl called Annie who loved working with the circus. She loved doing performances with her team of wizards and clowns. In fact, every time they had a show, Annie would be the one that would walk around the town calling everyone to go to the show to watch the exciting performances that she and her friends had prepared.

One day, while they were performing, something went horribly wrong. It was the wizard’s turn to perform for the crowd. When his potion box accidentally fell on Annie. Who was also on stage with the wizard, killing her instantly.  The wizard tried everything to revive her and when he finally succeeded in bringing her back to life, she had now become a zombie.

From this day, life was never the same for Annie. The town started treating her so badly that she would spend most of her nights crying. Nobody remembered the sweet girl that she once was. If anything, they would spit on her every time she walked on the streets. Calling her all sorts of bad names. And that is how she was given the name Ginx the jinx.

Tired of being treated like an animal by everyone else in town, she one day sneaked into the wizard’s house and stole a potion that gave her the powers of turning anyone who was around her into a horse. From then on, anyone who treated her badly would be turned into a horse, and only she had the power to decide whether she would turn you back to being a human or not.

So, do you think Ginx was right to use her powers as she did?

Moral: Don’t be clumsy as it could cost someone else their life.
