The Fun-Loving Snails

The fun-loving snails were always curious about what happened inside the human houses. Whenever the humans went to sleep or left the doors open, the snails would slowly glide into their houses to feed on the crumbs left on the floor.

In one compound, a family was known for having the wildest parties and drinking special lemonade. On several occasions, they would leave the lemonade spilled all over the floors. Which soon started to attract the snails to the house.

In the evenings, the fun-loving snails would enter the house. Sip the lemonade that was on the floor, and have their own party before the family woke up. As they partied and sipped on the special lemonade. The lemonade would give them unusual strength. Which made them do strange things like moving the family’s furniture around the house. This would puzzle the family every morning.

The family always assumed that the eldest son was pranking them by moving their furniture while they slept. Night after night, they would punish him. There was no change as the next morning the family would still find the furniture re-arranged. To prove his innocence the eldest boy stayed up to investigate this mystery. He found out that the smell of the lemonade attracted the snails to their house. The lemonade gave them extraordinary strength which made them move the furniture. He told his parents of his discovery and they all agreed to lay a trap for the snails.

Amazed by their strange actions, they lured the snails into a dollhouse in their house. The family realized they had so much in common including their love for the special lemonade and loads of fun. From that day, the family and snails would have fun together playing tag chairs; a game where the snails constantly move the chairs and the family expected to ‘tag’ the chairs while they all sipped on the special lemonade.
