Bora the lonely Boar

The tale of Bora the lonely boar. Bora the Boar had a special calling. His job was to protect a special door that led to the greatest treasure in the land. He was selected for this job as he was the only Boar that never grew old. Bora had never seen this treasure nor had he ever opened the door to confirm that there was treasure in there but he still took his job seriously.

For 100 years, Bora spent his time by the door, day and night. Taking care of the unknown treasures behind the door. This is until he started getting bored of being by himself. He was always guarding what he thought was nothing. It was at this point that he decided to go and spend a day with the humans in their world.

He had always heard other animals talking about how they would teleport to the human world. There was fresh grass and fun activities in the human world. Bora had never had a chance to go there as he was always guarding the door. However, this time, he decided he would sneak out just for one day to check out what their world had to offer.

When he got to this new world, he was so fascinated by the kind of things he saw that he did not just spend one day there like he had planned to…, he ended up spending 3 more days. He could not believe how time just seemed to fly by while he was in this world. Bora the lonely boar was not lonely anymore.

Time came for him to go back home….to his job. He teleported back to his world and back to his good old job.

Bora could not believe what he saw. He found the door to the treasure that he had been guarding wide open. The place had been robbed clean and past the door was an empty room with no one in sight to help him figure out what had happened to the place.

Just then, the guardian to the treasure house appeared. He was so upset by what had happened to the treasure that the only punishment he could think of fit for Bora was having him sliced, eaten alive and being reborn to endure the pain day in day out.

That is how Bora lived for the rest of his life.

Moral: Do your job diligently. Don’t slack off.
