The tale of the magical dream. Ikolo and his father were sound asleep when they heard a loud crashing sound coming from the bathroom. They were both startled awake. They quickly dashed to see what was happening. Only to find a very large hole in the bathroom roof and inside the bathroom was a man just staring. Ikolo’s father immediately rushed to get his phone so that he could call the police and Ikolo was left there holding a knife as if to shoo the man away.
As the man was standing there, he removed a magical-looking book from his jacket pocket and handed it over to the Ikolo telling him that he was the chosen one. Ikolo was surprised, but he took the book from the strange man. As soon as he opened the book, his world started transforming. The book had enchanted him and was leading him through the forest to the home of three wizard elders.
The wizard elders welcomed him into their home and bestowed on him powers that allowed him to fly and have super-strength. He would now become the town hero with these new powers, he thought. What a good feeling that was. He imagined how everyone in the town would be calling his name and singing his praises.
Just as he was enjoying the new powers, his father woke him up telling him to get ready for school. He could not believe it was a magical dream after all.
Moral: When its too good to be true, it may not be ‘true’ sometimes.
