The Sickness That Could Not Go Away

The sickness that could not go away
The world once experienced the sickness that could not go away; ever wondered how it came to be?

Deep in the icy caves of Iceland, a group of miners spent their days searching for rare and sparkling gems. These caves were famous for hiding precious treasures in their icy walls. One day, after digging and exploring for hours, the miners found a big, shiny rock buried deep in the ice.

Excited and curious, the miners started arguing about who would get to keep the shiny rock.

As they fought, something strange was happening. The rock, as though it had a life of its own, jumped from one miner’s hand to another. Every time it changed hands, the miners’ hands began to itch and feel uncomfortable.

Unbeknownst to them, the shiny rock was not just any gem. It had a poisonous serum inside it. It is said that it was hidden deep inside the cave to keep it away from people because it was dangerous.

The more the miners fought over it, the more their hands itched, and they soon decided that the rock was too troublesome to keep. “That rock is no good,” they all agreed.

So, they threw it away and headed home. But soon, things got worse.

By that evening, they began to cough and sneeze.

The next morning, they all woke up feeling very sick.

By the second day, their families were also ill.

On the third day, the sickness spread to their neighbors and everyone they came into contact with.

The sickness spread so quickly that soon the whole town was affected. The doctors worked hard to find a cure, but they couldn’t stop the illness. It spread to nearby towns, then to the entire country, and eventually to neighboring countries.

No matter what people did, they couldn’t stop the sickness from spreading.

To try and control it, everyone had to stay home and avoid contact with others.

Some people thought this might be the end of their way of life, while others hoped that doctors would find a cure or a vaccine to fight the illness.

What do you think will happen?
