The patient dog learnt that patience, loyalty, and love can lead to a brighter future, even when wealth is not part of the picture.
There was once a dog who longed for an owner, just like all of his other dog friends.
Every day, the other dogs would brag about their rich owners who treated them like royalty. They lived in fancy houses, had plenty of food, and received endless affection. This dog often felt left out, wishing for a loving owner who would take care of him the way he heard the other dogs were cared for.
One day, while searching for food, the dog saw a man walking down the street with a large bag slung over his back. The man seemed kind, though he didn’t look rich.
The dog thought, “Maybe this man could be the owner I’ve been looking for. Maybe he’ll be kind to me, even if he’s not wealthy”.
The dog approached the man and started to whimper softly.
The man stopped and looked at the dog with pity. Feeling a spark of sympathy, he decided to take the dog with him.
Little did the dog know, the man didn’t have a home of his own—he wandered from place to place, begging for food to survive. But even though the man had little, he still made sure the dog also had a place to stay. He treated the dog with kindness and love, often going without food himself so the dog could eat.
The dog was very touched by the man’s generosity, and he chose to stay by his side no matter what.
When the dog shared his story with his dog friends who lived with wealthy owners, they laughed. “Why don’t you come live with our owners?” they teased. “They have so much! You’ll be treated like a king!”
But the dog shook his head. “No, I love my owner,” he said, proud of the kindness the man showed him every day.
The teasing continued, but the dog stayed loyal to the man, who had become his oe true family.
One day, one of the rich dog owners, who had often seen the dog playing with his friend’s dogs, noticed the poor man with the dog. The rich owner was shocked to see the condition they were living in. He remembered how well his own dog was treated and wondered if he could help the poor man in some way.
The rich owner decided to offer the man some money, curious to see what he would do with it. The poor man didn’t waste the opportunity. He used the money to buy and sell products, working hard every day.
Over the next few years, he became more successful and eventually built a business. Within three and a half years, he had grown to become one of the wealthiest men in town.
From then on, the other dogs never teased the dog and his owner again. They saw how loyal and patient the dog had been, and they even admired the bond they shared.
Moral: Be patient with people. Time has a way of making things better.
