The evil orphanage

This is a story about the evil orphanage. The only thing he had of his parents was a picture they had taken while he was younger and a drawing that he had done for them while they were still alive. His parents passed on one unfortunate day. A man had been rearing wild wolves. The man released the wolves by accident and they went running into the area. Unfortunately, his parents had gone out for a walk that day, they were met by the wolves and they were killed instantly.

This was the most devastating day of his life. He was taken to an orphanage and this became his new home. Life was not so easy for him since then. At the orphanage, the food tasted very bad. The children slept on the floor on torn mattresses. When the boy was old enough, the owners of the orphanage started beating him for his mistakes; no matter how small they were.

Every night he went to bed with sores all over his body from all the beatings he received. He would always cry himself to sleep, sometimes wishing that he had also died along with his parents.

The evil orphanage owners would pretend to be good when the government inspection team came to visit the house. However, as soon as they left, they would go back to the same old routine. Julius didn’t know this, but the owners were actually getting paid by the government to take care of orphans. This is the reason why they pretended to be good to Julius and the other children they were taking care of every time the government team came for an inspection.

The kids tried telling their stories about what was happening to them. To their dismay, no one believed them and it was then that Julius decided to do something about these evil people who ran the orphanage. He spoke to some people who agreed to give him some work for small pay. Julius would pass by their homes every day after school for an hour of work. To avoid getting caught, he told his orphanage owners that he needed to do extra homework in school.

Julius spent so much time working so hard until he had. He soon had accumulated enough money to buy a camera. He wanted to use this camera to record everything they went through in the orphanage and that is exactly what he did.

The next time the inspection team came for a visit, he gave them the camera and everything he had recorded, all wrapped to look like a beautiful present.

It was when they viewed the camera footage back in the office that they realized the children in that orphanage did really suffer.

The owners were arrested for their bad behavior and all children were transferred to a new home. Things were now starting to look up for Julius and his friends.

Moral: Work hard for what you want.
