The Brick Wall

The brick wall
The brick wall originated from a rare species that loved to live quietly in their home.

Glorpnog was a one of a kind and rare species that once roamed the earth. Unlike the animals and humans that lived on earth, Glorpnog looked like a brick wall! The Glorpnog family liked to live quietly away from humans as they always made trouble to them and the environment.

One day, the humans poured a mysterious green looking goo near Glorpnog’s village. The Glorpnogs thought it was a peace offering as it looked like one of the tasty treats they loved to eat. They ate it all up, thanking the stars for the delicious food. But oh no! The goo was actually dirty sewage, and it made them all sick. This is except for one Glorpnog who was feeling ill that day and didn’t get to eat any of it, making him the only one left on earth.

Feeling very sad and angry, Glorpnog decided he wanted to get back at the humans. He went to their village, ready to take action. But when the humans saw Glorpnog, they were amazed by his beauty; and how his brick-like skin sparkled in the sunlight. Instead of being scared, they all just wanted to touch him and feel how beautiful he was. They chased him around with excitement!

Glorpnog ran until he reached a cliff. With nowhere to go and not wanting to be touched, he jumped off the cliff and his body completely disintegrated

The humans were so heartbroken, and to honor him, they built a sculpture of Glorpnog and placed it in the village square. This sculpture inspired them to build strong, beautiful brick walls for their homes, some of which are still standing today.

Moral: Be careful of how you dispose of your garbage and take care of the environment around you.
