Gilfart’s Farts is a story about farts that had unintending consequences
Once upon a time, there was a boy named Jack who was very afraid of the dark. He would always make sure his room was bright before going to bed. One day, Jack was home alone when he heard a strange noise coming from his bedroom. Terrified, he ran to the basement to hide.
Little did Jack know, an invisible monster had snuck in through the window and was now following him. This monster had a sneaky secret: it loved to bite things when it was hungry.
Just as Jack was about to hide in the safest corner of the basement, the monster took a big bite of his leg! Jack screamed in pain. He couldn’t see the monster, but he could feel it and see his leg disappearing down what looked like a monster’s throat.
Next to him was a bucket of paint. In a moment of bravery, Jack grabbed the paint and poured it over the invisible monster. The paint made the monster visible, and to Jack’s surprise, it turned into a gigantic bullfrog!
Jack was in so much pain and losing blood from his leg that he fainted. His loud scream had alerted the neighbors, who quickly came over to check on him. Among them was a friendly frog who lived next door.
The friendly frog saw the paint-covered monster and realized it was his long-lost relative, Gilfart. Gilfart had been causing trouble in town by making terrible smells that hung over the town like a green cloud. Everyone had been complaining about the awful stench.
When Gilfart saw the friendly frog, he got scared because he know he would expose him and tried to escape. As he jumped out the window, he let out another giant, stinky fart. The fart was so horrible that it made everyone cry. It turned out that when Gilfart was frightened, his farts created a painful, acidic film that made people’s tears burn.
The tears flowed like a river, and Gilfart, not knowing that the tears were acidic, jumped into the river wanting to cool off. But the river was soo acidic that it started to burn him, causing him great pain instead. Seeing this, the friendly frog, who was also the town’s a medicine man, jumped into the river to help Gilfart out.
Using his powers, the frog healed Gilfart and helped him feel better. Happy to have been saved, Gilfart then threw up Jack’s leg from his stomach. To everyone’s shock, Jack’s leg now had magical glow thanks to the special juices inside Gilfart’s stomach. The leg started hopping around, looking for Jack.
Jack, now awake, was amazed to see his leg hopping back to him. Once they were reunited, Jack’s leg re-attached itself on Jack’s body and gave him a special glow. With this glow, Jack was no longer afraid of the dark. He learned that even the scariest things can turn out okay in the end.
Moral: Every action has its consequences, even farting has consequences.
