The story of the vengeful germs is a story of how we started having germs all around us.
Long ago, humans never knew that germs existed. Germs lived in isolation away from the humans in a cave near the forest and humans on the other hand lived a carefree life – never washing hands and eating anything from the ground never minding the dirt it had.
The germs loved eating the fruits and vegetables of the forest. And since there was plenty of food around them, they never had to go where the humans lived.
One day, a terrible fire burned down the beautiful forest. The germs’ home was completely destroyed, and they had no food left to eat. They decided to venture out and explore new places in search of something to munch on.
As the germs wandered, they found themselves in a strange and exciting place. Instead of trees and grass, this place had tall buildings and clean shiny streets. The germs had never seen anything like it!
And best of all, they discovered rooms full of neatly stored food. It looked like a treasure trove of delicious treats!
The germs were overjoyed and raced to the piles of fruits, munching happily. They were so busy enjoying their feast that they didn’t notice a human coming closer to where they were.
The human picked a fruit from the pile as was his usual and took very a big bite, unaware of the tiny germs that were now screaming and scrambling for their lives.
The germs lost so many of their friends that day that they swore their revenge.
It was after a while when the germs were mourning their lost friends that they noticed the human who had just eaten their friends getting very sick.
It was then that the germs realized that humans were not very good at handling them.
From that day on, the germs decided they would find clever ways to spread their mischief.
They decided that the best way to get back to the humans was to contaminate everything they had in the hope of getting them sick
And so, the germs and the humans started learning about each other. The humans began to wash their hands and keep their food clean, while the germs kept looking for new ways to make their presence known.
Moral: Be careful of what you eat and always keep things clean.
