The story of the strange cartoons. There was a man who loved making children’s cartoons and he always did his best to ensure that they were funny. Before he released them, he would show them to his kids to watch. The man wanted to know whether his videos were good enough for others to watch. He had even tasked his kids to manage the YouTube channel that was hosting the videos. Since he did not want to handle the comments that people were writing as he was afraid of what people would say about his work.
His kids told him how people loved his work; how everyone thought that his work was perfect and that they needed him to do more. This made him so happy to hear and since he trusted his kids, he did more and more cartoons.
This is until one day when he was working on his computer, he saw some notifications popping up. The page that the kids had been working on had been left open. It was when he started looking through the comments on the page that he realized that there were a lot of people who were saying bad things about his work. With most of them hating on his work.
He immediately asked his kids about this and they revealed to him that they did not want to hurt his feelings. They loved him and they would do anything to make him happy…. even lie. The kids however assured him that his work was good enough and that one day, someone who appreciated his work would come along.
Although the man was disappointed and hurt by what he had just seen, he decided to soldier on…. and sure enough, one day an agent called him interested in signing up ‘the strange cartoons’ for an upcoming station.
Moral: Don’t give up no matter what.
