The story of the fearful girl. Catsy was a girl who was scared of everything around her. Most importantly, her worst time was during the night. She would get so jumpy at the slightest sound that sleeping without her night light on was almost impossible. She always thought that monsters would come at her and eat her up. To her, even butterflies were not creatures to be friendly with.
One evening, her home area got a complete blackout. The whole town did not have any lights and to make matters worse, her parents did not have any lighting alternatives that she could use. The fearful girl begged her mother to allow her to sleep in her room but her mum assured her, telling her that her fears were all in her head…. that monsters do not exist. All she had to do was close her eyes if she spots one of them; and by the time she opened her eyes, the monster would have disappeared.
Catsy could not get herself to sleep that night. As if that was not enough, she saw a monster in the corner of her room. She tried doing as her mom had advised her to, but nothing happened. In fact, the more she opened and closed her eyes, the more the monster smiled back at her.
“Your fear called me here.”, the monster said.
Just like that, the monster took a big bite of her head swallowing it whole. All her parents found in the morning was a body without a head.
Moral: Be courageous.
