Super Granny

Super Granny

Super Granny was not your ordinary town hero

She was not the kind of hero that everyone loved, but rather, she was the kind that people hated. She was known for breaking into people’s houses. When she entered a house, she would force everyone in the house into doing household chores. If she found anyone fighting, she would force them to make up and hug.

As an old lady, she loved reminding everyone of her ‘olden’ days when people used to work hard and live in harmony. She believed that no one should live in a place where you would find a speck of dirt. Or be in a place where there were any disagreements.

Nobody enjoyed this at all. She was just an old woman trying to do the right thing. This annoyed a lot of people and this was the reason that she was hated by everyone in town.

One day, as she was on her daily break-ins, she came to a house with a robbery in progress. A thief had broken into the house, tied everyone up, and was stealing their jewelry and valuables.

As soon as super granny saw the thief, she pulled out her superpower pan. Granny started beating up the thief repeatedly in the head shouting at him “Be a good boy, you naughty child.” The thief was beaten so hard that he had to be taken to the hospital.

Using the thief as an example, super granny became the self proclaimed the town’s hero and she was now free to continue with her house-to-house activities. Granny got everyone in their home to do things as she wanted them done.

This continued until the day a giant mouse invaded the town. As the only hero in town, she bravely pulled out her superpower pan and started fighting the giant mouse the best way she could.

Unfortunately, the mouse was too strong for her that it overpowered her and swallowed her whole. The giant mouse was so disgusted by her taste that it immediately left the town thinking that everyone in the town had the same horrible taste.

The town was sad but silently happy that super granny was now gone and that there would be no one to force them to do the things they did not want to do.

Moral: Don’t force people to do things your way as they will hate you for it.
