This tale is about Cinderella in real life. There was a girl named Cinderella who lived with her father. Her father thought she needed a mother figure. So one day her father married an evil woman named Tremain who had two children. They lived with Tremain for some days before Cinderella’s father went on a trip and sadly died of a heart attack. Tremain never liked Cinderella and as soon as the family heard the sad news, Tremain ordered Cinderella out of her room. She ended up giving it to her children because their rooms were too small and ordered Cinderella to the basement.
Since Tremain now owned all of Cinderella’s father’s money she threw parties every day. Cinderella was the one to clean up after every party. She wasn’t allowed to attend any of the parties which were pretty sad since she organized them and was the one to clean up after. A few days later the prince invited all the women to a ball where he would pick a wife. Tremain and her daughters were excited but Cinderella didn’t bother to ask to attend because she already knew the answer.
Cinderella prepared everything for Tremain and her daughters and as usual, she got nothing in return. On the night they went to the party she had planned to sneak out. But Tremain was already two steps ahead of her. She gave her so many chores it would take her all night to do. Cinderella had to finish all her chores. If she didn’t Termain was going to kick her out.
Cinderella felt hopeful. One day an old shaggy woman came and asked her for some food and water. Since she read stories about helping the poor and getting wishes granted, she thought she would try it out. She gave the poor lady some food and water and asked her to help get her to the ball like everyone else. The poor lady thanked her and realized that Cinderella thought she was a fairy. So she thought she could swindle her and told her to get some pumpkins and mice so she could perform a spell.
While Cinderella went searching for the pumpkins and mice, the old lady stole everything in the house and ran away. Cinderella in real life knew that her stepmother would definitely kill her for sure, so she ran away instead and started living on the streets, stealing just to live.
Moral: Don’t believe in fairy tales.
