The poor millionaire is one of the unusual rags to riches story ever written.
Bravo came from a family that was extremely poor. They lived in an old broken down shack in the slums of kambuzi. They didn’t have much money, so Bravo’s family had to eat mud and wear clothes made from grass. They didn’t even have blankets to keep warm. Bravo’s parents could not even send him to school, so they taught him what they knew, but it wasn’t much.
This did not discourage Bravo. Even though he didn’t have a lot, he never gave up. He worked hard, doing many different jobs to help his family. And when Bravo grew up, he got a job as a cleaner in one of the local banks.
He was very hardworking, always the first one in and the last one out. Bravo made sure the office was always clean and shiny. During breaks, he would use one of the computers to teach himself more about business.
Bravo’s hard work didn’t go unnoticed. His bosses saw how dedicated he was and gave him more responsibilities. He worked his way up and became a trusted manager at the bank. Bravo never forgot his family. He shared his success with them by giving them access to his bank account, letting them use the money whenever they needed it.
Soon, his bosses started to recognize him for his diligence and willingness to always learn. They promoted him to handle some of the office jobs and eventually he become a trusted manager in the bank. In all this, Bravo never forgot his parents. He cared for his parents so much that he even gave them access to his bank account. He allowed them to use the money whenever they needed to use it. Without any restrictions.
But Bravo’s parents were not used to having so much money. The more Bravo earned, the more money they took from his account, sometimes taking more than they should. Bravo, being generous, did not mind this at first, but soon it seemed like he was beginning to become more like the poor millionaire.
Bravo kept working hard and eventually became very rich. Even with all his wealth, his parents’ greed grew and grew. They even started planning to steal all the money from his bank account and hoping disappear to a far-off city.
One day, Bravo discovered something surprising—that his parents were not really his parents. It turned out that they had stolen him while he was young. Now, everthing made sense. No wonder his parents did a lot of the strange things.
Bet you weren’t expecting that, were you? Unless of course, you are really smart!
Moral: When people do weird things, investigate, do not just brush it off.
