The Messy Superhero

The messy superhero shows us that not all heroes are meant to be superheros.

There was once a boy called Kiri who loved watching a show called ‘The dark’. All his childhood days would be spent watching this TV show. He loved this one character called Bonny who was bold and indestructible. What Kiri did not notice was that Bonny was also a very dumb character. Kiri spent so much of his time watching the show that he started behaving just as dumb as the character.

Now that you have Kiri’s backstory, let us fast forward to twenty-five years later when he is all grown up.

When Kiri was all grown up, he got interested in crime-fighting. He became a superhero complete with his sidekick to help him in his crime-fighting. However, instead of Kiri getting his superhero stuff right to help the community, he would mess up the plans and his side-kick would end up doing all the work. This included cleaning up the mess that Kiri left behind. He never seemed to do anything right and this really annoyed his sidekick.

What annoyed the sidekick, even more, was the fact that no one gave him the attention he felt he deserved. Everyone seemed to think that Kiri was the one who always saved the day. Yet it was him who always did all the work.

The final straw for him was when he saved an old lady from being crushed by a car. A car which Kiri was driving and instead of the old woman thanking the sidekick for saving her life, she was so happy praising Kiri for his good deed. Was the whole town dumb or what?

The side-kick could not take it anymore. He was so mad that he decided to quit being Kiri’s side-kick to become a villain.

Syke! Bet you guys really fell for that?

Well, he just decided to quit the superhero business and leave Kiri the messy superhero to work by himself.

It was then that chaos started in the town as Kiri was never able to do anything heroic without messing up big time.

Did he quit the hero business? Well, your guess is as good as ours!

Moral: Be a teamplayer. And do not do something you are not good at.
