The boy who loved football reminds us to always keep our loved ones close no matter what
There was once a boy who really loved football. He practiced every day, dribbling and shooting until the sun set, and his hard work paid off. He quickly became the best player in his friend group, often being the first pick when teams were chosen.
His dream of becoming a professional footballer inspired him to join the school team, and one day, fortune smiled upon him: a scout spotted him during a game and invited him to join their football academy to hone his skills further.
It felt like a dream come true!
As he settled into the academy, he started gaining recognition and even a bit of envy from his friends. With each match, he imagined himself surpassing his idol, Ronaldo, and basked in the glow of his achievements. His friends were always excited for him, supporting him whenever they could.
During one of the big matches in the academy, his friends came to support him, but this time, they had a suprise gift for him —a brand-new pair of sneakers they had all chipped in to buy.
Their support meant the world to him.
However, the big match turned out to be a disaster. The team lost 10-0, and whispers of a rigged game filled the air. Frustrated and embarrassed, the boy made a rash decision.
Outraged by his worst performance, the boy, in a moment of anger, blamed the sneakers and his friends for his defeat. “If it weren’t for you, I would have played better!” he shouted.
From that day on, he started distancing himself from his friends and even ignored the advice of his family. Little did he know, cutting ties with his biggest supporters would have serious consequences.
As he withdrew, his performance began to slip. Practicing felt different, and his focus was distracted during matches. One fateful day, lost in thought while playing a game, he collided with the goalpost and suffered a severe injury. And just like that, his dreams of becoming the best footballer had vanished in an instant.
Lying in the hospital, he felt lost and betrayed by fate. “Why is this happening to me?” he cried.
Yet, even as he wallowed in his misfortune, his friends remained by his side, visiting him regularly and cheering him up. Intime, their loyalty and love began to mend his broken spirit.
Realizing that life doesn’t always follow our plans, the boy found a new path. He decided to focus on his studies and put his energy into school. Slowly, he learned the valuable lesson that support from friends and family matters more than any achievement.
Moral: No matter what, stick with your supporters.
