This is a tale of how the candy planet became the home loved by many.
Drey was a wealthy boy known for his incredible generosity. Despite his vast riches, he had a peculiar habit—he barely ate anything himself. In fact, he was so thin that people in town called him “the skinniest boy around.” Drey loved to give away his food to anyone in need. Street beggars, who relied on his kindness, never worried about hunger because they knew Drey would always share.
One day, a beggar approached Drey with a special request. A new candy had just hit the market, and it was the talk of the town. Everyone was eager to try it, and the beggar asked if Drey could buy him a piece. Intrigued by all the buzz, Drey decided to get the candy for himself, just to see what all the fuss was about.
The moment Drey tasted the candy, he was instantly hooked. The sweetness was so incredible that he craved more and more. Drey rushed back to the store and bought every piece of candy they had. But even that wasn’t enough. The more candy he ate, the more he wanted.
Drey’s obsession grew so intense that he began scouring every shop in town, and soon, across the globe, to get more of the candy. Eventually, the candy factory started producing exclusively for him, ensuring that all the candy made was reserved just for him. For the first time in his life, Drey didn’t want to share.
People were astonished. They said it was because Drey had never eaten much food before, so his taste buds were incredibly sensitive to the candy’s sweetness. As his appetite for candy grew, so did he. Drey ate so much candy that he began to expand beyond the bounds of his world, eventually growing into a massive, ball of candy.
Over time, Drey’s body, now looking like a candy covered planet was covered in sweet candy trees. He was so large that he couldn’t move anymore. But instead of being alone, his transformation became a blessing for the beggars. They found a new home in the branches of the candy trees and lived off the endless supply of candy that grew on him.
And so, Drey, once known for his generosity, became the Candy Planet, providing for those in need in a way no one could have ever imagined.
Moral of the Story: Don’t be greedy. Sometimes, even the most generous people can become so obsessed with something that they forget their original values.
