The Buzz That Healed

The Buzz That Healed

This is a story about the buzz that healed the fairest princess in the kingdom.

In a kingdom filled with plenty, lived a swarm of mosquitoes. They used to feed on the rare truffles making them one of the smartest animals in the land. These truffles were known to give the mosquitoes special powers. Soon there was a great disaster in the kingdom that made the truffles disappear. This made the mosquitoes look for other types of food.

One day, one of the mosquitoes, was out looking for some food. It came across a Gecko and a Lizard. Hungrily, they both rushed toward the mosquito. They wanted a tasty bite of the mosquito. A fierce fight broke out between the Gecko and the Lizard. As they tried to get a hold of the tiny mosquito the Lizard accidentally injured the Gecko. The injury was so bad that the Gecko started to ooze some sticky, smelly goo.

In the castle lived Chichi, the fairest of all princesses. On this day, Chichi was reading her favorite storybook when the ooze fell on her face from the castle’s ceiling. This ooze was poisonous to her face. This made it react very badly with her skin, making her face itchy and filled with sores. Her face also changed appearance and became pointy and very ugly.

To cure the princess, the King called for help from all in the kingdom, big and small. Soon, news spread across the land, the king wanted help. The elders from the mosquito kingdom sent for the great wizard and his companion, the violinist to come and help Chichi. The wizard, a mosquito, was known for his knowledge in creating the best magical potions than any human did. While the violinist, a human, had perfected the art of communicating with the mosquitoes. This duo had developed an uncanny relationship and was known for playing buzzziiiing tunes in both the human and mosquito kingdoms.

Immediately the Wizard saw Chichi, he knew what to do. He instructed the Violinist to play tunes that called for all the mosquitos from wherever they were to fly into the castle. He then instructed all the mosquitoes to start draining some blood from all the subjects living in the castle. The wizard knew that the blood drained from the humans mixed with the mosquito blood whose diet consisted of truffles would result in a powerful mix. This was then used to develop a special healing balm.  The balm was then applied to the princess’s face causing her face to be restored and to glow magnificently making Chichi the fairest one in the land once more.

To show his gratitude, the king signed a decree that allowed all the mosquitos in his kingdom to suck the blood from humans. From this day, no one could kill the mosquitoes for as long as they were in the kingdom.
This became the beginning of a new diet and a new relationship for all the mosquitoes. That’s the buzz that healed.

Moral of the story: No deed is too small to make a difference.
