The Wicked King

The Wicked King
The wicked king may not have been so wicked afterall.

Once upon a time, in a peaceful kingdom, everyone lived happily under their beloved King Neshad. He was a fair and kind ruler who always made sure his people were treated well. But one day, everything changed when a mysterious man arrived in the kingdom.

The man claimed to be a great wizard and insisted that King Neshad owed him a lot of money. Since the king had no proof of this debt, he refused to pay. Enraged, the great wizard cast a terrible spell on the king, turning him into a very greedy ruler.

From then on, King Neshad demanded high taxes from his people, even for the tiniest things. He feasted on lavish banquets while everyone else in the kingdom struggled to find enough food. The kingdom was suffering, and the people were very unhappy.

Among them was a brave boy named Kaleb. Seeing his friends, family and kingdom suffering, Kaleb decided he had to do something. He left his home in search of the great wizard who had cursed the king.

He traveled through dense forests, asking everyone he met if they knew where the great wizard was. After months of searching with no luck, Kaleb came up with a clever plan.

He decided to seek out another wizard — one who was known to be very wicked, to unlock the spell . This wicked wizard had a reputation for doing terrible things, like turning entire towns into frogs just for fun. Kaleb bravely went to the wicked wizard’s dark, spooky hut and made a deal. He promised to work for the wicked wizard for the rest of his life if he could break the curse and free the kingdom.

The wicked wizard agreed, and together they set off for the kingdom. Just as they arrived and began to undo the curse, the great wizard who had cursed the king returned. He roared, “Who dares to break my spell?”

Seeing the great wizard, the wicked wizard fell to his knees and begged, “Please don’t punish me! This boy tricked me!”

But the great wizard wasn’t interested in excuses.

He said, “If you wanted the king’s curse so badly, then you can have it. And now, you will be punished in the same way you have punished others with your spells.”

With a wave of his wand, the great wizard transferred the curse from King Neshad to the wicked wizard. The wicked wizard was also transformed so that by day, he was a man, but by night, he turned into a frog!

Kaleb was hailed as a hero when he returned to the kingdom.

The grateful king rewarded him with great wealth and praised him for his bravery and cleverness.
