Bora the Lonely Boar is the story of a timeless guardian who dared to explore the human world and returned to a shocking fate.
Far away, in a land filled with secrets, there was a boar named Bora. But Bora was no ordinary boar. He had been chosen for a very special job: to guard a magical door.
Behind that door, it was said, lay the greatest treasure in the land. No one knew exactly what it was. Bora had never opened the door, not even once. Still, he took his duty seriously. After all, he was the only boar who never grew old. He could guard the door forever.
For one hundred years, Bora stayed by the door. Day and night. Rain and shine. Always watching. Always waiting.
But after so many years doing the same thing, he started to feel… lonely. And bored.
“What if there’s nothing behind this door?” he thought. “What if I’m wasting my whole life?”
Bora had once heard other animals talking about the human world, and he was very curious about it.
To them, it was a place full of wonder – tall houses, glowing lights, tasty foods, and green grass as far as the eye could see. The animals said they could travel there just by teleporting.
Bora had never gone. He always stayed loyal to his post. But now, curiosity tugged at him.
“Just one day,” he told himself. “One day away won’t hurt.”
And so, for the very first time, Bora left his post and stepped into the human world.
What a world it was! Everything amazed him. He ran through wide fields, played with children, and tasted food unlike anything in his home. He laughed, he explored, he felt alive.
But one day turned into two. Then three. Then four. Time flew so quickly that Bora almost forgot his promise.
When he finally returned, his heart sank.
The door he had guarded for a hundred years stood wide open. Inside, the treasure was gone. The room was empty. Someone had stolen everything while Bora was away.
As Bora stood frozen in shock, the guardian of the treasure appeared. His eyes burned with anger.
“You had one duty, Bora. And you abandoned it.”
The guardian’s punishment was harsh. He cursed Bora to live with the weight of his mistake for the rest of his life.
Moral: When you are given a responsibility, protect it. Even small moments of carelessness can cost you everything.
