This is a story about the knight that became a bandit thanks for his love for his family
It was five o’clock in the morning when Sir Gareth, the town’s famous knight, woke up. He was known for his brave deeds like fighting dragons and rescuing princesses. But on this particular day, things were different. The townspeople were chasing him with torches, accusing him of stealing jewelry and paintings from their homes. Sir Gareth was confused because he had never stolen anything. He only left photos of himself at the crime scenes, which made the townsfolk even angrier.
No matter where Sir Gareth went, he seemed to have trouble. In every new town, thefts would occur, and his picture would mysteriously show up at the scene. Determined to clear his name, Sir Gareth decided to team up with the country’s best detective, a clever bounty hunter named ThinkPad. ThinkPad was famous for solving tricky cases, and Sir Gareth hoped he could help figure out why the robberies kept happening.
They set many traps to catch the real thieves, but each time, the villains always managed to escape. ThinkPad, known for his persistence, had one final plan. He chose a house filled with beautiful paintings and poured strong sticky glue along the path the thieves were expected to walk.
When the thieves arrived to steal the paintings, they immediately got stuck in the glue. Happy, Sir Gareth saw this as his chance to confront the robbers. But to his surprise, he discovered that the thieves were not strangers—they were his identical twin brothers!
Overjoyed to find his family at last, Sir Gareth wanted to work with his brothers and help them become heroes too. He turned to ThinkPad for assistance. They tried to teach the brothers the right way to live, but the twins were as stubborn as a mule and refused to change no matter what they tried.
ThinkPad, worried the brothers will continue robbing the town dry if they stayed, advised them to leave the town. But Sir Gareth couldn’t bear the thought of losing his family again.
So, he made a very difficult decision—he joined his brothers in their bandit lifestyle.
Together, they traveled from town to town, continuing their thefts and leaving photos of their faces behind as their signature.
Moral of the story: Family bonds are strong, even when they lead us down unexpected paths.
