The Wonder Chicken

The Wonder Chicken

The wonder chicken was a special chicken created out of mud by a witch who needed a helper

Once upon a time, there was a magical chicken made of mud. This special chicken was brought to life by a kind witch who wanted a helper for her spells. She used her magic to create this unique chicken from mud.

One sunny day, the wonder chicken was curious about the world outside the witch’s house. So, he decided to leave and explore.

As he wandered, he found a nearby chicken farm and saw many other chickens who looked just like him. He was so happy to find new friends and decided to live with them, thinking he was just like them.

One day, the farmer from the chicken farm wanted to make chicken soup, so he picked the wonder chicken from the flock. But something incredible happened! Instead of staying gone, the wonder chicken came back to life, just like before. The other chickens were amazed and thought the wonder chicken was magical.

The chickens started asking the wonder chicken to grant their wishes, but the wonder chicken couldn’t make any wishes come true. He was worried that if he tried, his witch master might come and take him away. So, he made up a story that if he granted any wishes, his master would come and eat the chicken who made the wish.

One little chick, who had lost his parents, had only one wish: to see them again for just one whole day. He insisted that he wanted his wish granted. Knowing very well what would happen to him once his wish was granted, he started getting ready to be eaten, believing that would be the price for his wish.

The wonder chicken felt very sad for the little chick and decided to ask the witch for help.

When the wonder chicken went to the witch, she agreed to grant the little chick’s wish but asked for a piece of mud from the wonder chicken in return. He agreed and gave a bit of his mud to the witch. The little chick’s wish came true, and he spent a wonderful day with his parents.

When the other chickens saw the the little chick’s wish came true and yet did not disappear, they wanted their wishes granted too. The wonder chicken started granting their wishes, but every time, the witch took more and more of his mud.

Scared and worried about what was happening to him, the wonder chicken decided he had to run away and hide.

The wonder chicken vanished, and the other chickens never saw him again. They missed him, but there was nothing they could do.

Moral of the story: It’s always better to be honest and tell the truth, even if you’re afraid.
