The story of the guardian angel. There was once a young boy who always felt very worthless. Every time he wanted to help or do some work, something would happen to what he needed to do. Either completing it or vanishing it making him feel like he was not needed by anyone and this annoyed him. At first he thought he was just lucky. But with time, this made him start feeling useless and this made him start thinking that he might have been cursed.
To cure what he thought was a curse, he decided to go to a spirit lady in his village. He had hopes of getting some answers and hopefully get rid of the curse. The spirit lady performed a special ceremony around him. This summoned the boy’s guardian angel. He asked his guardian angel what was happening. He told him that he did it to protect him from the dangers of this world. The boy tried telling him to stop but he refused saying that it was his duty and he needed to protect the boy no matter what.
When the boy saw that his angel was not listening to him at all, he got mad and slapped him so hard. The angel was so hurt by his actions, he just left him alone.
From then, nothing was as easy for the boy anymore…. In fact, it was like a string of bad luck now started following him in everything he did. Sometime later, he even got hit by a car and it was then that he realized that he actually needed his guardian angel to protect him. Unfortunately for him, he was nowhere to be seen.
Moral: Don’t chase away your helper.
