The Merman Who Didnt Listen

The Merman who didnt listen
Everyone in the ocean feared and respected the Merman who didnt listen, but his greatest battle wasn’t with a sea monster; it was with his own curiosity.

Long ago, in the deepest part of the ocean, there lived a mighty merman. He wasn’t just strong, he was so powerful that no other sea creature dared to play with him. Even the great blue whale, the biggest animal in the sea, stayed away. Because of his strength, the creatures of the sea named him Protector of the Ocean.

But being strong wasn’t always fun. Day after day, the merman swam alone. No one wanted to race him or play games because he always won. After living for more than a thousand years, he began to feel terribly bored.

One gloomy afternoon, he remembered something his father had once told him:
“Never, ever make the mermaid’s call. That sound can awaken the Kraken from its sleep.”

The merman had promised long ago never to try it, but now his boredom was louder than his father’s warning.
“What if nothing happens? What if it’s just a story?” he thought.

So he let out the call….. Long, Loud, and Haunting.

The sound traveled far beyond the ocean waves. But instead of waking the Kraken, it reached a submarine filled with scientists. The moment they heard it, they rushed toward the sound. When they saw the merman, their eyes widened in shock. A real merman! Without hesitation, they captured him and locked him inside their submarine to study.

As he sat in the cold, metal cage, the merman sighed.
“Why didn’t I listen? All I wanted was a little adventure. Now I just want to go home.”

But this cage was now his new home.

Moral: Don’t ignore wise advice; Listening can save you from regret.
