The book worm is an unlikely story of the worm that loved to munch on books.
In a cozy library, books lived happily together. They had their own special way of life, with books coming alive and having fun when no one was around to watch. The library was divided into two sections: the adult books and the children’s books.
The adult books spoke in a fancy language that only they understood. The children’s books, on the other hand, spoke in cheerful English. They often heard the adult books chatting, but since they didn’t understand their fancy language, they just went about their own fun activities.
Everything went smoothly until one day, the librarian made a small mistake. A children’s book, “Sunny the Storybook,” accidentally ended up in the adult section. Sunny felt very lonely because he didn’t understand what the adult books were saying. He missed his friends and felt out of place.
Things took a turn for the worse when a giant bookworm slithered into the library. This wasn’t an ordinary bookworm—it was a hungry worm that liked to munch on books rather than read them! The worm began munching through the adult section, gobbling up books and causing panic.
The adult books tried everything they could think of to stop the worm. They even tried speaking in their fancy language, hoping the worm would be calmed. But the worm just kept munching through the books, heading right for Sunny!
When the bookworm reached Sunny, something amazing happened. Sunny, though nervous, decided to use his childlike language to speak to the worm. He began reading one of his favorite poems out loud. The words were soft and sweet, and the poem was full of joy.
The bookworm listened carefully to Sunny’s poem. To everyone’s surprise, the worm’s big eyes softened, and it began to calm down. It seemed like the poem was soothing the bookworm, making it feel happy and peaceful.
With a big, contented yawn, the bookworm decided it was time to leave. It slithered away, happy and full. All the adult books cheered for Sunny, their new hero. Sunny had saved the day with his beautiful poem!
From that day on, Sunny the Storybook was a beloved hero in the library. The adult books and the children’s books became friends, and they all celebrated together. Sunny had shown everyone that even the smallest book can make a big difference.
Moral: Everyone has something special to share, and even the smallest hero can make a big impact.
