The bored princess

The bored princess

There was once a bored princess named Ann who was always very curious. She wandered around the castle looking for something to do but to no avail. Ann ended up entering her mother’s room which she was forbidden to enter. Upon entering the room happiness entered her like a thief. Because her mother’s room was filled with unknown books she had never read or heard of before.

Her mother had gone out for some unknown business. So she had no worries about being in her room as long as she would put everything back to where it was. She picked a random book and started reading. The book had a blank cover and the words in the book did not make any sense to her.

Ann started reading the words out loud trying to make sense of them. When she finished the first sentence she realized the room had gotten bigger. She went around the room wondering how to undo what she had done. Only to realize she had turned herself into a frog. She realized this when she stumbled in front of the mirror.

Ann was in shock and unfortunately realized she had to wait for her mother to arrive back home. The bored princess knew her mother is the only one who could help turn her back to her normal self. However, that was not the case. When her mother got home, she was frightened to see a frog in her room. But she soon realized that it was her daughter. She laughed and then revealed her deepest darkest secret. Her mum told her “You foolish child, I’m a witch and if you had just minded your own business, you would not be here”.

She then did a duplication spell to make an exact replica of the girl and then said to the frog “I have made an obedient daughter now get out of here”, she then threw the girl out of the window and left the girl to fend for herself.
