The Disrespectful Alien

The disrespectful alien
In the Disrespectful Alien, a boy learns the hard way that sometimes the very people you push away are the ones you are most like.

Once, there was a boy who felt like he didn’t belong in his own family. His parents looked… well, different. Their eyes were a little too big, their skin had a strange shimmer, and their smiles seemed just a bit too wide. They looked like aliens!

The boy, however, looked perfectly human. He had regular eyes, normal skin, and an ordinary smile. This made him wonder if his parents had stolen him from his “real” parents.

Because of this, he never listened to them.

When they told him to clean his room, he pretended not to hear. When they warned him about something, he rolled his eyes. No matter how kind they were, he just wouldn’t respect them.

One day at school, he noticed something strange. His classmates stared at him like he was a stranger. Some whispered to each other. His best friend even ran the other way when he tried to say hello.

At first, he thought, Do I smell bad? Did I forget to brush my teeth? But then he noticed something even stranger, people weren’t just avoiding him… they were scared of him.

Confused, he hurried home. The moment he saw his reflection in the mirror, his jaw dropped.

His eyes were bigger. His skin shimmered just like his dad’s. His smile… well, it was definitely wider than before.

He gasped. I look just like Dad!

He ran to his father, heart pounding. “What’s happening to me?”

His father put a gentle hand on his shoulder. “You’ve come of age,” he explained. “In our family, we live disguised as humans when we are young. But when the time comes, we transform into our true alien form. It’s who we are.”

The boy stood frozen. All this time, he had been rude, stubborn, and disrespectful, thinking he was nothing like them. But now, he was like them. He had always been.

Shame filled him. “I’m… sorry,” he whispered. “For not listening. For being rude. For thinking you weren’t my real parents.”

His father smiled warmly. “It’s never too late to change, son.”

From that day on, the boy worked hard to respect his parents, listen to their advice, and learn about his alien heritage. At first, he was embarrassed to be seen in his new form, so he stayed away from school. But slowly, he began to love who he was…..alien or not.

Moral: Respect your parents, even when you don’t understand them; you may be more like them than you think.
