The boy who fooled all

The boy who fooled all

The tale of the boy who fooled all. Trinity School was planning for its annual Christmas play. All the boys in Alec’s class were busy preparing for the auditions. Everyone in the class wanted to play the lead role in the play. The teacher did not know who to select for the leading role. So they all came up with a plan to get the best boy to take up the role. It was then that they all decided that the fittest one of them would be the one to get the role.

A lot of the boys who were interested in the play were nerds. Alec was confident that he would take the role as he was among the few athletic boys in his class who were also interested in taking part in the play.

When the day came for the competitions, Alec was preparing for the games. When he saw one of the fittest boys join in the competitions. This was such an unexpected turn of events. Everyone knew he hated plays and they did not understand why he was even participating in the competitions.

He kept winning all the sports, taking the first spot on the leaderboard. It was after he was announced the winner did the group of boys asked him why he participated in the competitions. He was not interested in the play and his answer was shocking. He told the class how he had been paid to play sports by one of Alec’s biggest rivals. The smartest kid in the class and it was he who got the spot of being the lead character in the play…. without lifting a muscle. The boy fooled them all.

Moral: Play it smart, not hard.
